The Venue

What I am really supposed to be doing right now is taking notes and paying attention to what we're discussing in class... But census data is not that thrilling and it's almost past 9:00 p.m. so I'm going to sate my ADD tendencies by posting on here.

Let me just introduce you to the "oh-so-fabulous" venue Jason and I decided to book for our wedding .... The BlackHawk Hotel in Davenport, IA. It is old and modern all at once and we CANNOT wait to get married there!!!! But oh-my-goodness there are just over 200 days left to plan everything and thinking about it too much makes my head spin. Anyways, enjoy these pics I googled :-) Now onto finalizing the guest list, finding the photographer, and every other thing I am months behind on.

Labor Day Update

Well I suppose it is time to update the blog on what we are all up to nowadays since it has been since July. I'm still working at Wells Fargo as a teller - but am open to the prospects of a new job should one come my way. Jason is going into his last week of training at his new job with Echo Global Logistics and will be starting sales next week! I'm so proud of him and know he will do so well there.

Let's see... Wrigley is still being Wrigley. She's exhausting and precious all in one. We took her to the vet this last Saturday and learned she weighed a whopping 17.1 pounds. I think Jason and I are both eager to see her finally reach full-grown size.

Other than that nothing really new for us Midwest Texans. Wedding planning is coming along - more specifically - WE FINALLY HAVE A DATE!!! April 7th, 2012 :-) Be prepared to party people.

Meet the Wrigs

On April 1st we decided to adopt this little bundle of joy - an 8-week old Shiba Inu. She has been an exhausting and wonderful addition to our new lives down in Dallas. She is full of personality and makes sure everyone knows it :-)

Alright, I Caved

We'll see how well I do at this blogging thing - I should actually be studying for a final right now, but that's not working out. Look for more tomorrow, maybe I'll have something to rant, rave, or gush about. Good night bloggers.
